Accommodations & Dietary Requests
We want every attendee to feel welcome and comfortable at the conference. After registering, you’ll receive a short form to share any dietary restrictions or accommodation requests.
We’ll do our best to honor all requests and will be in touch if we need clarification. If you have urgent needs, please reach out directly at info@mealsonwheelstexas.org.
Cancellation Policy:
We understand that plans can change!
Full Refund: Cancel 10 or more days before the conference and you’ll receive a 100% refund of your registration fees.
No Refunds: Cancellations made within 10 days of the conference are not refundable, as event costs will have already been committed.
Substitutions Welcome: If you can’t make it, you may send a colleague in your place at no extra charge. Just email us at info@mealsonwheelstexas.org with their name and contact information.
No-Shows: Registrants who do not attend and do not cancel are not eligible for a refund.

CALL FOR SPEAKERS
The 2026 Meals on Wheels Texas Annual Conference will be held from Sunday, February 15 through Wednesday, February 18 at the Magnolia Hotel in Houston, Texas. As we continue preparations for the event, we are pleased to announce that the speaker application process is now open.
Meals on Wheels Texas seeks proposals for educational sessions at the 2026 Annual Conference and Expo. The conference attracts close to 200 providers of home delivered meals, congregate meals, senior center operators and others in the business of caring for older adults.
The Conference Committee is actively seeking proposals that address the programmatic and professional development needs of conference attendees who range in experience level from entry, mid-level, and advanced professionals. The following criteria are taken into consideration in speaker selection:

The experience level that the presentation/workshop is designed for

The timeliness and originality of the presentation & relevance to Texas Meals on Wheels programs
