This February, Meals on Wheels leaders from across Texas will gather in Houston to chart a stronger, more sustainable future—together. The 2026 Meals on Wheels Texas Conference and Expo is more than an annual meeting; it’s a statewide conversation about what it will take to keep meal delivery programs thriving for years to come. Across three days of learning and connection, we’ll explore what sustainability really means for meal programs today: adapting to funding realities, strengthening teams, embracing practical innovation, and working together to ensure no Texan is left behind.
This conference is your opportunity to build capacity, share insights, and strengthen the statewide network that sustains our work. Through interactive sessions, panels, and peer learning, we’ll tackle the big questions facing providers today, including how to:
- Navigate funding realities
- Enhance fundraising strategies
- Leverage technology and AI responsibly and effectively
- Align operations with a changing landscape
- Make strategic decisions with your clients at the center
At the heart of this year’s program is the unveiling of the 2026–2029 Strategic Plan: UNITED—our collective vision for the future of Meals on Wheels in Texas. Together, we’ll identify how MOWTX can best support local programs through these six priorities:

Who is the MOWTX Annual Conference For?
The MOWTX Annual Conference features a diverse range of topics relevant to organizations of all sizes and staff at every level—from volunteer managers and development professionals to operations leaders and executive directors. Accommodations & Dietary Requests
We want every attendee to feel welcome and comfortable at the conference. After registering, you’ll receive a short form to share any dietary restrictions or accommodation requests.
We’ll do our best to honor all requests and will be in touch if we need clarification. If you have urgent needs, please reach out directly at info@mealsonwheelstexas.org.
Cancellation Policy:
We understand that plans can change! Please review the following guidelines for cancellations and substitutions.
Full Refund
Cancel on or before January 15, 2026 to receive a 100% refund of your registration fees.
Partial Refund
Cancellations requested between January 16 and February 5, 2026 will incur a $100 cancellation fee.
No Refunds
Cancellations made after February 5, 2026 are not refundable, as event costs will have already been committed.
Substitutions Welcome
If you can’t attend, you may send a colleague in your place at no additional charge. Please email info@mealsonwheelstexas.org with their name and contact information.
No-Shows
Registrants who do not attend and do not cancel are not eligible for a refund.
